I was born in Marietta, Ohio, and moved with my mother and sister to South Parkersburg
the summer before beginning sixth grade. I graduated from Parkersburg South High School.
During my high school years, I worked at Little Caesars on the south side of Parkersburg and in
Vienna. After graduation, I attended West Virginia University at Parkersburg for approximately
one year.
During a break from college, I met my husband, David W. Stilgenbauer. At the time,
David was serving in the military; he is now an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church.
We will celebrate 33 years of marriage this June. Together, we have three children-two
daughters and a sonand have been blessed with five granddaughters. We are also joyfully
anticipating the arrival of our first great-grandchild.
I later returned to college to complete my education. I earned a Regents Bachelor of Arts
degree from West Virginia State University in 2003 and went on to receive my Master of
Divinity from United Theological Seminary in 2007.
I have served in ministry for approximately 20 years, including 11 years in full-time pastoral
ministry. My appointments have included:
• 2004-2006: Otterbein (Nitro) and Mt. Salem (Hurricane)
• 2012-2015: Pisgah (Pee Wee, WV)
• 2015-2019: New Creation Charge (White Sulphur Springs)
• 2019-Present: Lost Creek Charge
I enjoy getting to know people and meeting them where they are on their journey. I look
forward to where and how the Lord leads me next.
